Adrian Allen is a Chartered Surveyor and the main director of A J Allen Associates Limited. He has over 25 years experience in commercial asset and property management throughout the UK. He is a former board Director of one of the leading commercial property management firms.

He has acted on behalf of a wide range of clients, from large pension funds, through to high wealth individuals mainly within the office and industrial sectors.  His experience includes setting up and running teams specialising in managing large office schemes, science parks and business parks. As well as business development and commercial growth through effective management, strategic procurement advice and management consultancy advice.

This abundance of management and technical skills means he can provide strategic consultancy advice to clients to ensure effective results that impact a client’s overall business goals ;

• The strategic setting up of in house management teams and their processes to ensure an efficient and effective team to obtain the goals of the owners and investors.
• Advice on In and outsourcing tenders from sourcing suppliers, to creating specifications and requests for proposal to facilitating a client’s decision-making process and ensure a smooth handover.
• Drafting management contracts and attending pre and post tender interviews.
• Overseeing the performance of KPI’s and SLA’s on outsourced contracts. Ensuring the performance indicators are pertinent to the investment goals and business plan.
• Strategic advice on performance management. An overview of current strategies and policies to benchmark areas of change to improve performance and create efficiencies.
• Advice on design for management work during redevelopments or refurbishments to ensure a building is ready for occupation at project completion. Dealing directly with your project team we can provide knowledgeable and pragmatic advice to ensure effective systems are installed.
• Advice on strategic day to day asset and property management.

Adrian is also a senior associate with Remit Consulting ( www.remitconsulting.com ) working closely with their team on various projects including MADD, a managing agents due diligence service providing strategic advice on property management to reassure investors that the liabilities are being eliminated. This association gives him access to a huge network of consultants within real estate for any specialist advice. The arrangement is designed so Adrian is the lead Consultant on any advice and responsible for each project and it’s successful completion.
